2. How far are you from restaurants?
You will find many restaurants on Rt.60 just minutes from the KOA. Locals call it "Restaurant Row".

3. What is your location like?
The Williamsburg Area KOA Resorts are conveniently located one mile north of I-64 at Exit 234. The resorts are beautifully landscaped in a quiet, wooded area. We have great campsite choices from wooded tent sites and Kamping Kabins to Premium 50amp big rig friendly sites. No highway noise or trains nearby.

4. Are there any golf courses in your area?
Golfing in Williamsburg is HUGE. Fees range from $45 to $120. Here is a list of the nearby courses See Golf page for more information.

7. Are pets allowed?
KOA Kampgrounds are pet friendly and welcome our campers who enjoy traveling and sharing their camping experience with the family dog and / or cat. However to insure all of our guests have a safe and enjoyable time, it is important that you read and abide by the following KOA pet policy:
A Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome at any KOA. If your dog shows behavior that is protective and unfriendly to strangers, please leave it home. If you decide to bring your dog and it exhibits this type of behavior the owner or management of the KOA will ask you to please find other camping accommodations. Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes, Rottweilers and Dobermans are not allowed at our resorts.
B Pet rules unique to the location will be addressed at time of reservation or registration. We encourage all dog owners to call in advance to inquire about any specific rules that might apply to their situation. Some KOA Kampgrounds do not allow pets in their Kamping Kabins or have limited availability of pet units for rent. Please call in inquire about availability for you and your pet.
C All dogs are required to be under the control and visual observation of their owner at all times. A 6’ (six foot) leash rule is in effect whenever the animal is outside the owner’s camping trailer, vehicle, kabin, or motorhome. No dog should be left tied up and unattended outside the owner’s camping equipment.
D Allowing your pet to bark uncontrollably day or night will not be permitted and you may be asked to leave if you are not able to control your pet’s barking behavior.
E Service dogs of any breed are welcome at all KOA Kampgrounds. However, these animals must follow leash restraint policies and may not exhibit aggressive behavior.

8. Are pets allowed in kabins?
Sorry, we do not allow pets in kabins or on kabin sites.

9. Do your sites have cable TV?
All sites and kabins at Williamsburg KOA have cable hookups. At Colonial KOA cable TV is available only at the Premium RV sites.

10. Do you charge extra for cable?
No, it is included in the site rental fee. If you would like cable please let us know when you make your reservation. At the Colonial section,all full hook-ups and the Premium 50amp sites have cable TV. At the Williamsburg section all sites with electricity also have cable TV.

11. Do you allow campfires?
Williamsburg KOA allows ground fires. If you would like to have a fire on an RV site you must bring a container to keep the fire off the ground. All campfires must be out by 11pm.

12. Do you have Internet access?
Yes, Wi-Fi is accessable at both resorts. Wi-Fi is complimentary.

13. Do the area attractions have RV Parking?
Busch Gardens and Water Country offer RV parking for a fee of $9.00. Colonial Williamsburg offers free parking with an admission ticket. Jamestown and Yorktown offer parking.

Kabins

1. How many people do your kabins sleep?
The Kabins have a double bed and a set of bunks. They sleep two adults and two children.

2. Do your Kabins have restrooms?
No, restrooms and showers are nearby.

3. What do your Kabins have in them?

4. What do I need to bring to stay in a Kabin?
You will need linens or sleeping bags for the beds and a camp stove or grill to cook on. Please see the Kabin page to help plan your stay.

5. Do Kabins have cable TV?
The Kabins at Williamsburg KOA have cable TV hookups. You will need to bring your own TV. The Kabins at Colonial KOA do not have cable.

6. Do your Kabins have heat and AC?
Yes, they come equipped with an electric heater and air conditioner.

2. Are you open all year?
We are open March 1 to December 10.

3. What is check-in/check-out time for campsites?
Check-in is after 1:00 PM and Check-out is before 11:00 AM.

4. What is check-in/check-out for Kabins?
Check-in is after 3:00 PM and Check-out is before 11:00 AM.

6. Do you accept personal checks?
We accept personal checks for advance deposits only. We are not able to accept personal checks at the counter.

7. What credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We are unable to accept American Express or Discover.

8. Do you require a deposit for reservations?

9. What is your cancellation policy?
We require 48 hour advance notice for cancellation of campsites, and 7 day advance notice for cancellation of Kabins. During some periods the deposit is non-refundable. Please see our rates page for more details.

10. Is it necessary to make a reservation?
We strongly recommend reservations. We are very often full and have no kabins or campsites available for walk-in guests. It is always better to make a reservation and be sure we can accommodate you. Kabins fill up fast, so make your reservation early.

11. Do you allow campfires?
Williamsburg KOA allows ground fire on tent sites and kabin sites only. If you would like to have a fire on an RV site you must bring a container to keep the fire off the ground. All campfires must be out by 11pm. Colonial KOA has fire rings on most sites. If your site does not have a fire ring, you may make a fire on the ground where there has been one in the past.
